Notable projects included recording Bottlenose dolphin signature whistles in Baja, Mexico, and identifying Offshore killer whale calls at the Bamfield Marine Science Centre. Her study of a solitary false killer whale off Bowen Island revealed rare insights into their behavior. In Nootka Sound, Rachael delved into the vocal repertoire of L98/Tsu'xiit/Luna, deepening our understanding of killer whale communication. Her research, spanning from behavior calls to underwater sound levels, contributes significantly to marine science. Rachael's journey underscores the power of passion and commitment in unraveling the ocean's mysteries, inspiring future generations to protect our marine resources.
